- TikTok is replacing the old Violation Points system with a new Account Health Rating (AHR) in July 2026.
- Under AHR, shops start at 200 points: green (healthy) at 200+, orange (at risk) 51–199, red (deactivation risk) at 50 or below.
- You can appeal or correct violations within set deadlines to restore points and lifted privileges.
TikTok Shop penalizes policy breaks with a points system, and in 2026 that system is changing. If your listings or withdrawals have been restricted, this is how the scoring works, what the thresholds mean, and how to recover.

The new system: Account Health Rating (AHR)
TikTok published the full Account Health Rating requirements on June 25, 2026, and AHR replaces Violation Points in July 2026. It’s a numerical score with clear zones:
- Every shop starts at 200 points.
- Green zone (200+): a healthy account in good standing.
- Orange zone (51–199): at risk — you’ve received or are close to milestone enforcement.
- Red zone (50 or below): explicit risk of deactivation.
TikTok can take escalating action as your score falls through 150, 100, 50, and 0. At zero, the account may be permanently deactivated.
The old system: Violation Points
For context, the system AHR replaces worked on a 90-day reset cycle with these thresholds:
- 12 points: new listings suspended for 7 days.
- 24 points: suspension extended to 14 days.
- 36 points: suspension extended to 28 days.
- 48 points: permanent account suspension.
If you racked up points under the old system, watch your Seller Center dashboard for how they map into the new AHR score during the transition.
How to protect your account health
- Ship on time and keep tracking updated — late shipments are a common penalty.
- Keep inventory accurate so you’re not canceling for out-of-stock.
- List honestly: no counterfeit, prohibited, or misrepresented products.
- Respond to buyer requests within 24 hours and refund on time.
Frequently asked questions
How do I check my account health?
Open Seller Center and look for your Account Health or Account Health Rating dashboard. It shows your current score, any active violations, and the enforcement status.
Do violation points ever go away?
Under the old system they reset on a 90-day cycle. Under AHR, resolving issues and staying compliant lets your score recover over time. Successful appeals restore points directly.
My shop was deactivated — can I get it back?
Sometimes, through the appeal process, if you can show the violation was in error or has been corrected. If listings are simply hidden rather than deactivated, see TikTok Shop not showing up: fixes.
