- In Seller Center, go to Products → Add new product, then fill in category, title, images, price, stock, and required attributes.
- Add a shipping template so the listing knows how it’s delivered.
- Every new product goes through a short review — usually 15 minutes to 48 hours — before it goes live.
Adding products is the core of running a TikTok Shop, and TikTok is picky about complete, accurate listings. This guide walks through adding a product the right way so it passes review the first time.

Add a product step by step
- Open Seller Center and go to Products → Add new product (on the app, use Manage products → Add).
- Pick the most specific category you can — it decides which attributes and certificates TikTok asks for.
- Enter a clear product title that describes the item plainly, without keyword stuffing.
- Upload images — use several clean shots on a plain background. Add a short video if you have one.
- Fill in the required product attributes (size, material, and so on). Since March 2026, missing mandatory attributes can hide your listing.
- Write a description covering what it is, key specs, and what’s included.
- Set your price and stock quantity.
- Attach a shipping template and any category certificates (cosmetics, food, and supplements often need them).
- Tap Submit to send it for review.
After you submit
Products sit in Under Review while TikTok’s system checks your title, images, and price against its policies. Most clear within a couple of hours; some take up to 48. Once approved, the product is live and can be tagged in videos and lives.

Frequently asked questions
How many products can I list?
New shops have listing limits that rise as your account builds a track record. If you hit a cap, focus on your best sellers first.
Can I bulk upload products?
Yes. Seller Center supports bulk uploads via a template spreadsheet, which is faster than adding items one at a time once you have a large catalog.
Why was my product rejected?
Usually a missing attribute, a prohibited or restricted item, a certificate the category requires, or images that break the rules. TikTok lists the reason on the product — fix it and resubmit.
